Electric Railway Museum are pleased to announce that three more vehicles have now officially entered the collection.
On 28th February, we signed the Transfer Deed for the sole remaining Class 308 vehicle, BDTSoL no 75881, with the AC EMU Group. The vehicle will remain on display at the Lea Valley Experience in Walthamstow. A detailed plan has been drawn up for its cosmetic restoration.
Also on 28th February, we signed a long term Loan Agreement with the owner of 2-Hap no 4311. A working week is planned in April to freshen the unit up so it can remain on display at our Coventry site.
We have also been extremely busy at the Coventry site, improving it visually. Visitors will be please to know that the derelict bus has now finally been disposed of by its owner, and the area tidied up.
On the administrative side, our Charity Application is still progressing, and we have just completed and sent off the paperwork requested by the Charities Commission following our initial application. Watch this space!
