How to Get Here

By Road

The Electric Railway Museum is located on Rowley Road approximately two miles from Coventry City centre, close to the village of Baginton. By road it can be easily reached from the M1(M45), M6 and the M69. Follow the signs for Coventry and from then on follow the brown tourist road signs for the Coventry Air Museum; the Electric Railway Museum is next door to the air museum.

The nearest railway station to the site is Coventry itself. There are two buses from the station that pass within walking distance of the site.

Bus Service 1 to Toll Bar End (end of route)
The Coventry station stop is on Warwick Road (overbridge at western end of station) - the stop is on the opposite side of the road to the station. Buses run about every 30 minutes and take about 25 minutes. From the Toll Bar End stop it's about a 15 minute walk along Rowley Road.

The Coventry station stop is on Warwick Road (overbridge at western end of station) - the stop is on the same side of the road as the station. Buses run about every 2 hours and take about 10 minutes. From the Baginton stop it's about a 10 minute walk along Rowley Road.

Alternatively, you could use a taxi from the station forecourt, The taxi fare will be in the region of £8-10 in each direction.
